The Seed Box: An Environmental Humanities Collaboratory

In 2013 Cecilia Åsberg submitted the grand-scale application for a national program in the environmental humanities: The Seed Box was an interdisciplinary and internationally oriented pilot program in Environmental Humanities funded by Mistra (The Swedish Foundation for Strategic Environmental Research) and Formas (The Swedish Research Council for Environment, Agricultural Sciences, and Spatial Planning). The goal of the program was to establish a collaborative research hub at Linköping University – focused on environmental challenges and engaged in research, education, and artistic practices that bring together people from different fields and creates an interface between academia and other parts of society.

Founding director (2013-2017): Cecilia Åsberg
Duration: 2014-2019
