Ate Tervonen

Ate Tervonen is a doctoral candidate at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. He studies dog culture and how cultural phenomena, cultural products, and texts take part in shaping dogs and affect the welfare of dogs. His doctoral dissertation focuses on three main themes: breeding of pedigree dogs, dog training, and the affect of dog representations in fiction.
