Current Projects

The Posthumanities Hub hosts many projects, some are time-limited, externally funded and focused research projects, some are “pet projects” running over extended periods. Other projects are edited book series or special issues of scholarly journals, and some are communication projects, outreach or co-creative projects. Key among them are the supervised students’ PhD-projects and Hub-relevant MA-thesis projects.

EATING THE WORLD: An Exploratory Study of Eco-Creative Food Methods for Storying Exposures and Sustainable Research-Creation in the Environmental Humanities. (Formas Explore 2025-2030). Dr Siobhan Leddy and Dr Cecilia Åsberg

COASTAL-CULTURES: the Gender Studies PhD-project of Caroline Elgh on critical ocean studies, arts of kelp and coral, and blue humanities.

GETTING DEEP WITH OCEAN RELATIONALITY: A Feminist Posthumanist Perspective on Deep-Sea Mining, Knowledge Production, and Multispecies Futures. The Intersectional Gender Studies MA-thesis of Tuja Torvaldsson.
