Arranged by the performance theatre Secret Hotel, EARTHBOUND is a biennial symposium that brings together artists, activists and scholars and weaves together art and science to reimagine how we humans relate to the living world. This year’s theme is “Soil & Water – The Sensuous Fundaments for Life”.

EARTHBOUND 2025 will take place over three days from 19 – 21 August 2025, at Himmelbjerggården (Ry, near Aarhus) and Moesgaard Campus.

This is an invitation for tandems of an artist and/or activist and a researcher to propose and facilitate workshops that explore sensuous, immersive, participatory approaches to the theme of the symposium.

Currently, there are Early Bird tickets available, which give access to the full 3-days symposium at the lowest ticket rate.  Standard tickets will be released in March and will then offer the possibility to also choose between attending the symposium only at Himmelbjerggården (2 days) or Moesgaard (1 day).
