The inaugural European Intersectional Humanities Summer School will be held at Maynooth University in Summer 2025. It will offer an innovative and transformative experience at the intersection of critical theory, social justice and humanities scholarship. Convened by Professor Anna Hickey-Moody, the Summer School will bring together scholars, activists and students for an immersive exploration of how intersectionality shapes and is shaped by the human experience across various fields of inquiry.
The Intersectional Humanities Summer School will held on the North campus in the Arts & Humanities Institute, starting Monday, July 14th and finishing up Friday, July 25th. Maynooth University is located in the heart of Ireland’s only historic university town. Attendees will be accommodated on-campus and are connected to the nearby Dublin city centre by rail or bus. Spaces are limited and the price is €3,750 (including accommodation). A full programme will be available January 2025.
